Making A Purchase
Making a purchase from warwickgifts.co.uk involves browsing through our site, selecting any items that you wish to buy and adding them to your shopping basket. Having finished your selection, to complete your order click on 'checkout'.

Upon selecting 'checkout' you will be prompted for your shipping details, as well as your credit card information. This information will be entered on a secure site handled by our payment provider, WorldPay. For further information see Credit Card Security.

If you are placing a credit card payment shopping order from any country outside the United Kingdom, your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency. Depending on your credit card provider, there could be an extra fee charge involved with this action. It is recommended that you check this with your credit card provider before placing an online order with warwickgifts.co.uk.

Once your order has been placed, you will receive an e-mail from WorldPay confirming the amount charged to your card and providing you with a reference number as well as a Purchase ID number. Furthermore, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging your order and detailing your shipping instructions.

We will begin processing your order as soon as we have received confirmation of your credit card payment. For further details please see the Shipping and Handling section.

With all payments made in pounds Sterling payable to the University of Warwick trading as Warwick Gifts.

Shipping And Handling
warwickgifts.co.uk charges a set amount for your delivery, dependant on your shipping location.
The costs, in pounds Sterling, are as follows:

Delivery within the UK: £ 3.00
Delivery within the EU: £ 6.00
Delivery to all other regions: £ 8.00

Also, we do accept orders within the University campus (including residences) at no extra shipping cost. In the event of receiving an order from a postal address within the University of Warwick, we will refund the standard UK shipping charge placed on that order.

Delivery Schedule
At warwickgifts.co.uk we aim to deliver your order within the following timescales, depending on your shipping location:

Deliveries within the UK: 2-4 working days
Deliveries within the EU: 4-6 working days
Deliveries in the rest of the world: 7-10 working days

Back Orders
warwickgifts.co.uk aims to stock all items available on this site. However, should an item you have ordered be out of stock, we will partially refund that order, still shipping the remaining items. We do not handle back orders. For further information, please see our Returns Policy.

Tax Charges
VAT stands for Value-Added Tax, which is charged on most goods and services within the European Union. UK VAT (currently 17.5%) is included in all our product descriptions on this site.

Customers with shipping addresses outside the European Union will not be subject to VAT and the prices shown on the billing page will exclude this charge. However, all orders placed may be subject to local taxes and custom charges.

Customs forms for all international packages list the value of the contents as well as the description of the items. Any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your country must be borne by you. Your local customs office will be able to provide you with further information.

Credit Card Security
All information regarding shopping transactions, including credit card number details is handled by WorldPay , part of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group.

Any communication between the shopper and WorldPay is encrypted to the maximum strength of the shopper's browser using TLS or 128-bit key SSL encryption.

No credit card details are stored in any form by warwickgifts.co.uk.

warwickgifts.co.uk does keep a record of every order placed, which includes the shopper's contact details (name & shipping address) as well as their shopping record in terms of items purchased. This information is held offline and will under no condition be made available to any other third party outside warwickgifts.co.uk

warwickgifts.co.uk will not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option.

Furthermore, warwickgifts.co.uk does keep a detailed record of all customer orders including shipping address details and items ordered for each purchase made.

Throughout the duration of a transaction, warwickgifts.co.uk does not store, or at any point in time come in contact with customer credit card details. These details are processed and maintained by our payment service provider, WorldPay , part of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group.

Returns Policy
At warwickgifts.co.uk we guarantee the items you purchase through your order will reach you in a good condition.

If, for any reason you find that the order we have dispatched does not meet your expected standards, we will refund it in full, subject to you returning the order, as is, back to us. For further information see the contact details.

If you believe that any item you have received is damaged or faulty in any way, warwickgifts.co.uk will replace that particular item, provided that you contact us (please see the about us section) within seven working days of receiving your order. Depending on the specific order placed, warwickgifts.co.uk reserves the right to request the customer to return the item.

Furthermore, under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within seven working days of delivery. Please email us with your instructions (including your Order Number, sent in your order email) and you will receive an e-mail confirming your cancellation.

Shipping and handling expenses are not subject to refund unless the item was damaged or we shipped you the wrong product. In such an event, we will absorb the costs to send you the correct item. This does not affect your statutory rights.
